What is the role of humic acid fertilizer?

Using peat, lignite and other raw materials, using different production methods to produce products containing a large amount of humic acid and nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and some trace elements needed for crop growth and development, it is called humic acid fertilizer. It is equivalent to an organic-inorganic compound fertilizer. The varieties of humic acid fertilizer include ammonium humate, ammonium nitro-humate, phosphorus humate, ammonium humate, sodium humate, potassium humate, and ammonium humic acid. Its role is as follows:

(1) Improve the soil. Application of ferment can promote the formation of soil aggregate structure and improve soil water retention and fertilizer retention performance. Reduce the toxicity of aluminum ions and the excessive concentration of salt.

(2) Increase effective nutrients. The fat fertilizer itself contains certain available nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and some trace elements, and can promote the activation of phosphorus, reduce the fixation of phosphorus, and improve the utilization rate of phosphate fertilizer.

(3) Stimulate crop growth. The fertilizer can enhance the activity of various enzymes and strengthen the redox process in the plant. Therefore, it can promote seed germination, root growth, increase root water absorption and absorption capacity, increase tillering or branching, and early maturity.
