The quality of the rubber roller is mainly manifested in the aspects of elasticity, stickiness, center of circle and surface finish, among which the main one that affects the ink shade is stickiness. During the printing process, the glue roller should maintain a certain viscosity in order to ensure that the ink applied to the printing surface is the same during each printing cycle. However, in the actual production process, the cohesiveness of the rubber roller is not stable, and the paper dust on the surface of the rubber roller is dissipated as the temperature increases and the use time prolongs due to the increase of the paper dust in the ink, and the adhesiveness of the surface of the rubber roller is reduced. Gradually weakened, the ink-absorbing performance also decreased accordingly, thus affecting the balance of ink color of printed products. Therefore, printed color products should use a stable quality polyurethane roller or leather roller. If the print volume is large, the rubber roller should be cleaned in time to remove the impurities on the roller to ensure the printing quality of the product.
The effect of temperature on printing ink
Because the ink has thixotropic characteristics, when the printing environment temperature is high, the ink appears thinning phenomenon, making the printing ink fade. Conversely, when the temperature of the printing environment drops, the ink will thicken, and the printing ink color of the product will also become darker. In the printing production practice, we found that in the case of low temperature and slow machine speed, the ink in the ink fountain is often not smoothly conveyed, and the ink supply is not normal. As a result, the ink color of the print product is getting lighter, which affects the quality of the printed ink. The stability, which is the main performance of the thixotropy of ink. In this regard, it should be noted that the ink in the ink fountain is often stirred to maintain continuous and uniform fluidity and ensure the stability of the ink quality of the product. Therefore, printing color products should pay attention to the selection of high-grade ink, its thixotropy is relatively stable, and it is conducive to improve the quality of printed ink. In order to prevent the viscosity of the ink from changing too much and affect the balance of the ink color of the printed product, the production workshop for printing color products should use the constant temperature and humidity conditions as much as possible; the speed of the printing machine should not be too fast, and the printing should be performed at a constant speed; The unused rubber rollers should be removed as much as possible; the contact pressure between the rubber roller and the ink roller cannot be adjusted too tightly; do not use a harder rubber roller; the contact between the rubber roller, the water roller and the printing plate should be appropriate to minimize The friction coefficient in the printing process minimizes the effect of frictional heat on the characteristics of the ink, and reduces the influence of the thixotropy of the ink on the printing ink color.
