The separation of control signaling and data flow is not a concern in a simulated networking system and must be considered in a digital networking system.
There are generally two types of networking: one is cascading and the other is interconnection. Cascading is the networking between the upper and lower levels, and the interconnection reflects the networking of equal relationships.
Whether it is a cascading system description or an interconnected system description, it usually only points out the flow of control flow. It does not clearly define the management of data flow, nor does it specify the management of network bandwidth. Digital trunks evolved from analog systems are flow and bandwidth management that meet industry requirements.
Digital trunks can be defined as digital channels that establish connections between PVG servers. Through trunk lines, several PVGs can establish various network topologies and provide powerful protection for multi-level digital networking, network security, and network bandwidth management. The trunk management includes: selection, reuse, preemption and preemption of post-processing and reservation. The trunk route selection refers to what algorithm the PVG system will use to select which nodes and which trunks should go through when invoking an image of another node on a node. The multiplexing of trunks means that when multiple users call the same camera, the following users should reuse trunks that have been used instead of using a new trunk. Preemption of trunks refers to what algorithm the PVG system will use to seize new trunks when all trunk lines are used by users. Preemptive post-processing refers to the friendly notification of all users who previously occupied the trunk. The reservation of trunks means that some trunks are reserved for certain nodes when they are configured. Only the users on these nodes can use reserved trunks. Reserved trunks are generally used in specific situations.
The management of real-time streams by digital trunks has been well verified in the project. Based on this, it is further deepened and the concept has been evolved and extended to the management of historical images. In the digital trunk management of historical images, the concept of network isolation (such as isolation of *.net and video private network) and access to historical images can be well resolved through concepts such as routing and preemption.
It can be said that from analog trunk management to digital trunk management to digital trunk management and application of historical images, PVG has completed a number of networking function jumps to meet the networking requirements under various conditions.
