Lin Zhonggui introduced that when the tanker is dumped, the steel ball of the safety valve will contact the cone surface of the valve core from the bottom of the valve cover, sealing the venting port of the breathing valve, thereby avoiding the outflow of material and playing the role of automatic leakage prevention. When the pressure inside the tank is too large, the valve flap of the breathing valve is lifted up, and the safety valve will automatically open the pressure relief to avoid the explosion being too large. The product named "New Respiratory System" has obtained the national two-type utility model patent and applied for an invention patent to the relevant state departments.
Two successful leak prevention
In 2006, Hengfeng Company began to promote this product. After replacing the new type of breathing valve with safety device, it also successfully avoided two leaks.
At present, Jiangbei District has rebuilt 497 tank trucks in the district, replacing each vehicle with a new respiratory system, and subsidizing the vehicle for 1,000 yuan, with a total subsidy of more than 490,000 yuan. Relevant persons from the Municipal Administration of Work Safety said that accidents involving non-pressure tank trucks causing leakage of dangerous goods in the country due to traffic accidents, causing fire, casualties and environmental pollution, occurred in Ningbo. There are about 2,000 chemical tankers in Ningbo. There are more vehicles in the country, and the social value of this new product promotion is far greater than the economic value. However, the promotion of this new product has encountered many problems such as the serious lag of national standards and the time and effort required to take legal procedures.
"It can be said that the current national standards have been outdated and should be revised." The experts at the meeting said that the new products are very practical and the social benefits are very good, but the enterprise standards of new products are higher than the current national standards. The department's approval of the enterprise standard for this product must go through cumbersome legal procedures.
"In order to develop and promote this product, we spent hundreds of thousands of yuan before and after." Lin Zhonggui said that the company has only invested, and has not produced economic benefits, and sometimes wants to retreat. However, I think that with the strong support of the government departments, I am determined to further improve the relevant standards and safety certification of products, and especially want to promote the early revision of national standards, so there will be no resistance to promoting new products.
