Guard ring: A part attached to the inner ring or shaft ring; the use of centrifugal force to enhance the ability of the tumbling bearing to avoid foreign objects.
Roller: A ball or roller that rolls between raceways.
Cage: A bearing component that partially wraps all or some of the tumbler; and moves with it; it is used to block the tumbler; and generally guides the tumbler and holds it in the bearing.
Barrier: A bearing component that sits between and moves with adjacent tumbling bodies; it is used to block the tumbling body.
Ball: spherical roll.
Roller: A roll with a symmetrical axis and a circular cross section in either plane of the straight axis.
Needle roller: small diameter cylindrical roller with a large ratio of length to diameter; generally the length is between 3 and 10 times the diameter; but the diameter generally does not exceed 5 mm. The needle head can have several shapes.
3. Scale scale plan: A system or table containing the dimensions of the rolling bearing.
Bearing series: a specific set of rolling bearings; with progressively added dimensions; in most cases there is the same contact angle and there is a certain relationship between the physical dimensions.
Scale series: width series or combination of height series and diameter series; tapered roller bearings also include viewpoint series.
Diameter series: part of the current norm scale plan in China. The series of bearing outer diameters; for each gauge bearing inner diameter; there is a series of outer diameters; and there is often a specific relationship between the two diameters.
Width series: part of China's current norm scale plan. The series of bearing widths; the inner diameter of each diameter series; a width series.
Height series: part of China's current standard thrust bearing scale plan. The series of bearing heights; the inner diameter of each diameter series; a series of heights.
Viewpoint series: part of the current standard tapered roller bearing scale plan in China; a specific size of the contact angle.
Shape scale: A measure that limits the shape of a bearing. The fundamental dimensions are the inner diameter, outer diameter, width (or height), and chamfer dimensions.
Bearing inner diameter: the inner diameter of the inner ring of the radial bearing or the inner diameter of the axial ring of the thrust bearing.
