MPS-500 IGBT inverter multi-function welding machine is an upgraded product of Xionggu D7-500 welding machine. The actual object is shown in Figure 1. Since the advent of the D7-500 welder in 2000, thousands of Xionggu multi-function welders have been used for the construction of long-distance oil and gas pipelines at home and abroad. The MPS-500 welder adopts the patented independent air duct technology (200520034327.7), which is more suitable for construction under harsh environmental conditions in the field. The independent air duct structure is shown in Figure 2.

The independent air duct has the following advantages:

(1) The high-voltage conductive parts of the welding machine (such as three-phase rectifier bridge, IGBT terminal, etc.) and the control circuit are completely isolated from the external space. When the welding machine is running, the cooling air does not pass through the above parts, which reduces the welding machine in the rain. In the humid, high dust environment, leakage during operation, control circuit board failure, play the role of rain, moisture, and dust, so that the adaptability of electric welding machine in the desert, Loess Plateau, Jiangnan water network area is greatly improved. .

(2) The electromagnetic shielding between the high-power circuit and the control circuit is realized, so that the anti-interference ability of the electric welding machine is further improved and the operation is more reliable.

(3) Without increasing the air volume of the fan, the load duration of the welder can be increased by about 20%, which means that the welder can be improved in heat dissipation, reliability and extension of the welder using the same fan. The purpose of the service life.

(4) The independent air duct heat dissipation technology is adopted to effectively isolate the high-voltage live parts of the welder from the air duct, avoiding problems such as leakage and insulation performance caused by metal dust accumulation, and improving the operation of the welder in the field environment. safety.

The MPS-500 welder maintains the versatility of the D7-500 welder, improves the performance of low-hydrogen, cellulose electrode welding and semi-automatic self-shielding welding, using a method for increasing the arc initiation and re-ignition of cellulose electrodes. The success rate method greatly improves the arc-igniting performance of the cellulose electrode.

In order to improve the reliability of the MPS-500 welder, improve the working environment of the welder and reduce the pollution of the welder to the grid, a passive EMI filter is installed at the inlet of the three-phase AC power supply of the MPS-500 welder (see Figure 3).
