Liquid wallpaper identification method

Liquid wallpaper paint has recently entered the home improvement market as an innovative and stylish option. With its growing popularity in interior decoration, it's no surprise that liquid wallpaper paint is becoming a top choice for many homeowners. This is because the application of liquid wallpaper requires a high-quality base coat—liquid wallpaper paint. Many people are drawn not only to its aesthetic appeal but also to its eco-friendly properties. However, since this is a relatively new product, many consumers remain unfamiliar with it, leading to hesitation when purchasing due to concerns about counterfeit or low-quality products. When evaluating the price, it's important to note that genuine liquid wallpaper paints are typically produced by reputable manufacturers following strict formulas, resulting in a reasonable and fair price. On the other hand, inferior products may be made with substandard materials or even counterfeited, which significantly lowers their cost. If you can identify these four key factors, you can confidently choose a quality product that meets your needs. Next, examine the surface for floating particles. High-quality liquid wallpaper should have a clear, smooth protective glue solution on the surface, with very few visible floaters. If there are numerous floating objects, or if the color particles are visibly covering the solution, especially if they form a thick layer, it’s a sign of poor quality. Third, check the water solubility. After some time, the pattern particles in good-quality liquid wallpaper will settle at the bottom, leaving a thin layer of clear protective glue on top—usually about 1/4 of the total volume. The protective glue solution should be clear or slightly yellow. In contrast, lower-quality products often show a cloudy, colored solution that matches the pattern color, indicating instability and reduced shelf life. Such products should be avoided. Lastly, assess the particle size. Take a transparent glass, fill it halfway with water, then add a small amount of paint and stir. High-quality paint will keep the water clear, with evenly sized, independent particles floating in the water. Poor-quality paint, however, will make the water quickly murky, with uneven particle sizes—some large, clumpy particles mixed with small, fluffy ones, resembling a disorganized texture. By carefully observing these characteristics, you can easily distinguish between good and bad liquid wallpaper paints, ensuring a safe and beautiful home decor experience.
