The domestic caustic soda price has basically remained at a relatively high stable price range during the recent period. On December 19th, Shanghai and Zhejiang regions were operating stably. The price of 32% ion-exchange membrane caustic soda was between RMB 1,040 and RMB 1,060 (t price, the same below); the Jiangsu market was affected by the shrinking demand and market confidence, and the price dropped slightly, with 32% of ion membranes. Caustic soda prices 950 ~ 970 yuan; Hebei 32% ion-exchange membrane caustic soda prices at 950 yuan; Henan 32% ion-exchange membrane caustic soda prices at 980 yuan; Shanxi 32% ion-exchange membrane caustic soda prices at 940 yuan.

Although the country raised the sales price, the price of caustic soda has risen. However, due to the excessive cost pressure of the downstream industry, and at the same time, the attitude of businesses at the end of the year has become more stable, which has restricted the price of caustic soda. It is expected that the domestic price of caustic soda will maintain its consolidation trend in the short term.
