Due to moisture, condensation, frosting, etc., it is easy to cause the insulation performance of the motor to drop, causing electrical failure. The moisture-proof heating belt is specially designed and produced for the above situations.
The moisture-proof heating belt works when the motor is not working, so that the motor winding temperature is always higher than the ambient temperature. Thereby avoiding condensation on the coil windings; ensuring that the motor operates normally in a humid environment.
The heating belt is installed on the stator winding of the motor. After heating and heating, the heat is transferred to the stator winding to prevent moisture and avoid damage to the motor caused by insulation degradation.
Heating belt installation principle:
(1) Confirm that the rated working voltage of the heating belt matches the power supply voltage used.
(2) A single moisture-proof heating belt installed at the shaft end of the stator winding; two moisture-proof heating belts, one mounted on the shaft extension end and the other mounted on the non-shaft extension end.
(3) Place the heating belt at an appropriate position on the end of the stator winding so that the heating belt is in good contact with the winding, and the power cable is connected in the junction box.
(4) The heating belts must not overlap during installation. This problem has appeared in many motor manufacturers.
Heating belt installation precautions:
(1) The heating belt is prevented from being folded or scratched by a sharp.
(2) After the motor winding is shaped, install the heating belt to avoid damage to the heating belt due to shaping.
(3) The heating belt must be close to the surface of the winding to facilitate the dehumidification.
(4) Do not subject the heating belt to tension.
(5) It is strictly forbidden to hammer the heating belt.
(6) The heating belt and the motor cannot work at the same time.
