Sanmao passed the environmental occupational health and safety system certification

Abstract After successfully maintaining the ISO 9001 quality management system certification for seven years, Zhengzhou Abrasives Grinding Research Institute has recently achieved another significant milestone by obtaining the environmental and occupational health and safety management system certification from Beijing Huaxin Technology Inspection Co., Ltd. This achievement marks a comprehensive enhancement of Sanmao’s management systems, covering quality, environment, and occupational health and safety. The certification not only strengthens the company's internal operations but also supports its long-term sustainable development. From May 27 to May 31 this year, a team of six auditors from Huaxin Technology Inspection Co., Ltd. conducted an on-site audit of Sanmao’s quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems. Following a thorough review, the audit team confirmed that the systems were in compliance with GB/T 19001-2008 (equivalent to ISO 9001:2008), GB/T 24001-2004 (equivalent to ISO 14001:2004), and GB/T 28001-2011. Although some minor non-conformities were identified, they were promptly addressed and verified, leading to the approval of the second-stage audit on July 5 and the official issuance of the environmental and occupational health and safety certification on July 11. The successful completion of the certification process was made possible through the continuous support and guidance of senior leadership. Since relocating to the development zone, Sanmao has significantly upgraded its infrastructure, equipment, and working environment, creating a solid foundation for the certification process. Under the leadership of the management team, employees across all departments actively participated in various stages, including standard training, internal audits, and the development of management manuals and procedures. These efforts reflected a strong commitment to improving the overall management system. The on-site audit by Huaxin Technology Inspection Co., Ltd. served as a comprehensive evaluation of Sanmao’s management capabilities. It helped standardize processes, enhance product quality, improve working conditions, and ensure a safer workplace. Moreover, it contributed to the promotion of the “Sanmao” brand and its market competitiveness. This certification represents a new stage in Sanmao’s environmental and occupational health and safety management journey. The company aims to continuously refine its systems and align them with the core values of "people-centered, prioritizing employee well-being; respecting regulations, promoting environmental friendliness; and focusing on prevention to reduce operational risks."
