Dalan Motor explores why three-phase asynchronous motors start weakly? The reason is actually this!


When the start switch is pulled, the motor rotates slowly and weakly, and the three-phase asynchronous motor generally lacks phase. It may also be that the rotor of the motor wipes the heart. In short, there are many reasons for the weak start of the motor. Today, the editor of Dalan Motor has compiled a maintenance plan to discuss with you.

1. The maintenance plan is as follows:

(1) Check whether the three-phase winding of the motor is normal, and eliminate the lack of phase failure of the motor;

(2) Whether the measurement voltage is normal. If the cross-section of the motor circuit is small or the circuit is very long, the voltage at the motor terminal will be lower due to the excessive voltage drop of the circuit, resulting in the motor input voltage being lower than the rated value, resulting in the motor running weakly.

(3) Check whether there is a short circuit between the three-phase windings of the motor, or the wire gauge and the number of turns are wrong when embedded.

(4) There is no problem with the above, then disconnect the coupling, single test the motor, and determine whether the motor is rotating normally according to the speed and rotation sound. You need to crank in advance to check for jams, foreign objects or bearing problems.

Second, if it is judged whether the motor is normal or not

(1) Use a shaker to shake the motor insulation; a 380V motor can use a 500V shaker. Shaking the insulation resistance of the wires on the three terminals to the motor housing should indicate that there is no short circuit to ground if it is above 0.5 ohms.

(2) Multimeter test: measure the resistance between the three phases of the motor A / B / C, whether they are equal or not, the normal should be similar. Too much difference can also be transferred, but it does not take long, remember that the bigger you are, the smaller the resistance value.

(3) Check the bearing, fan, and sometimes the motor will be burnt if the bearing is locked.

(4) The no-load current of the motor is generally 10% to 35% of the rated current
